Yesterday was the last game of the season and our little soccer girl scored a goal. And it was intentional. LOL She was ready for the pass. Stopped it, turned and kicked a strong kick and SCORE!!
The look on her face was better than the bragging of her scoring a goal and then as she was running down the field Steve and I looked across the field at each other and it was sweet. We just shared a look of pride as parents not coach and mom. Sweetness it was I tell ya!

Isabella showing the number 2 sign instead of #1 since the Silverbacks placed 2nd in their league.

Coach and Daddy with his daughter and player.

Silverbacks on stage receiving their trophies. The kids were so excited and all sat together in a row with Steve away from their parents. It was sweet.

Ok, now I get the bad parent, I'm going straight to hell award for sneaking a picture of Ava while they were praying. It was just too cute to pass up the photo opportunity.

Here is the team acting silly before the ceremony started.
Next year Ava will be old enough to play and I told Steve he will be coaching 2 teams instead of just 1. He wasn't overly thrilled with my statement.
